"I'm so glad to live in a world where there are Octobers"......Anne Shirley
Welcome to the best month of the year! Hopefully we can find some cooler temperatures and a little rain! Our first month of CentreStage has gone by just swimmingly! You all have incredible children and I so enjoy being a small part of their lives! Here is the information you need for the next month!
*Tuition Reminder!- PLEASE remember that tuition is Due the first week of classes. September was rough for this one! I need tuition to be paid the first week of each month. I appreciate your help with this! Thanks
*NO CLASSES over UEA- We will not have classes the week of UEA (or what we call Fall Break) with the exception of the Tap Class. Lauri will have details for them in class!
*Disney Performance Tour- Our Disneyland Performance Troupe will be headed to California on October 16th and we are excited to see them perform! Good luck to those performers!
-Disney Performance at Fairfield Village in Layton
Monday October 8th at 7:00pm. Calltime is 6:00pm in costume ready to go at Fairfield Village
-Disney Parents Preview/Meeting (parents and family only)
Thursday October 11th at 8:30 at the DHS Little Theater. Calltime is 8:00pm in costume at DHS
-Disney Chaperone Get to Know You Party- October 13th at 9:00pm at the Studio!
*Halloween Classes- The week of Halloween your students are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes to class (especially the two Elementary Theatre Classes)! We do some fun improv activities with their Halloween characters. If they don't have a Halloween costume, no worries we have plenty of costumes to help them find a character!
That is all for October! We are diligently working towards our performance projects and learning a few things along the way!
Thanks again!
Kristin Callor

CentreStage Theatre for Youth- Tuition Policy
Centerstage Theater for Youth is a theater school where classes are built level by level and week to week as the group progresses toward final projects. Due to this fact, Centerstage students are not charged weekly for participation, but for a spot in the class. Some months students will meet for 3 or 4 individual classes and some months they meet up to 9 times between extra rehearsals, longest days and actual performances. Producing full scale musicals is an integral part of Center stage Theater for Youth. Obtaining rights and following copyright laws are required when involved in theatrical productions. Therefore, Centerstage has designed tuition in a way that is consistent for everyone all year. All tuition, costume fees and participation fees have been rolled together and divided by the nine months classes
meet all year.
If you would like further (budget) information or to learn how to apply for the rights to a musical please feel free to contact me.
